Rich Thomas
Critical Ass
Rich is a three-time rider making his Rest Stop debut this year.
By vocation, he is a writer for an Investment Banking company with no experience
in writing and no knowledge of Investment Banking. He will be fired momentarily.
He hails from the small Central Valley (CA) town of Merced, is conversant in Spanish,
types 100 words-per-minute and has an oaky, buttery flavor.
Known for being sarcastic and critical, Rich is probably making fun of you right
now.
In 2001, while working at a Banana Republic in Beverly Hills, Lauren Bacall once
said about Rich, "Keep an eye on this one. I've got a feeling about him." She later
explained that she thought he was stealing.
Rich is the recipient of numerous Coach's Awards and "Participant" ribbons and was
a 2007 winner of the prestigious Trader Joe's $25 Gift Card for Bringing Your Own
Bags. He is a certified Reverend in the Universal Life Church and has been secretly
marrying strangers on his train ride to work each morning.
He is incredibly excited about supporting 2,500 riders on the road to Los Angeles
this June and proud to be part of Rest Stop 4.
